100% my personal preference, but I wouldn't be caught dead in a Tesla, can't stand them at all.

If you're dead set on going electric, there are far more enticing prospects coming down the pipe in the next year or two than a Tesla, in my opinion.

Once you’ve driven a Tesla, it’s hard to go back to any other car. This is the car of the future.

Why didn’t you just say Back to the Future, that’s 1k super charger miles that you’ll never use gone!

Buy a land cruiser 70 series. You'll survive a drone strike from God in that vehicle.

Ordered a Tesla model Y 4 months ago and just took the delivery. The good thing about Tesla is if you have buyers remorse, vroom / caravana will buy you out for a premium. I checked and they were offering 3k over the OTD price I paid. But I am keeping the car. 😀

Since when are Toyota’s not cool? I have two 4Runners and I never want to own anything else

likesmartfunny

EY2 lol probably because all the other vehicles break down and the only ones still running are the Toyota’s.

Teslas are a flex. Do you need transportation or an ego boost?

This being fishbowl, maybe I shouldn't ask.

But keep in mind, for every "ooh" to your face there's an "eww" or two behind your back.

Yeah that's not true at all fam

Tesla’s are so hot. If you can afford it buy that. Drive a Honda when you’re 80

A Honda Civic lasts forever if you take take care of it (and maintenance is relatively inexpensive).

What do you mean?

What does the soul say? Buy a Lexus! You can be cool, have some luxury and also get reliability. The ES 350 is a great vehicle for midrange sedan!

funny

All depends on what you can afford, what you want out of a car, and how long you think you’ll keep it.

I (36F) am married to another woman (34F) and we have a baby (5moF). We split all childcare, cleaning, meal prep, errands etc fairly evenly and it works well. Maybe she cooks more than I do bc she likes it, and I clean more bc I need to have a clean house. My friend (35F) recently took a business trip and literally put a binder together with instructions for her husband re: daycare drop off and pick up, what to feed the kids, when to take out the trash and so on. Would love everyone’s thoughts! Which of these two options would you pick if your goal is to buy and hold for appreciation purposes given these are in a very hot market. Both same lot size.

Option 1:
- $175k lot located on very busy street but across the street from new $700k townhomes and restaurants

Option 2:
- $250k 3 bed/1 bath fixer upper located at end of dead end street, houses on street all fixer uppers, located down the street from Option 1 (so also near new builds and restaurants)
