I read that an L1 visa application should include work experience letters from past employers. All of mine are in my native language, not English. Can the letters be included in their original language with translations of the text included as attachments or should I contact my past employers for English versions?

I did a quick estimation and there’s a possibility that the egg retrieval day might be in the end of my client project. The difficulty is that you don’t know which day it is until maybe 2or3 days ahead. How do you guys handle this last-minute PTO day? Taking the whole week off doesn’t make sense either since it’s end the of project. Thank you!

I have a problem, I over explain myself and when I do it with my women colleagues I think they get the impression that I'm mansplaining to them. I started the habit because I ran into an issue where a lot of people often weren't sure what I was talking about and I'm trying to be nice and explain it up front so things are absolutely clear. Is there a way to do this where I don't run the risk of offending my colleagues? I certainly don't mean to imply incompetence.

So I’m only contributing to 401k enough to get employer match, and I’m saving an additional ~20% and putting 90% of that into my vanguard mutual funds. Reasoning is that I don’t want to lock away all that money maxing out 401k. Have 3 months expenses liquid in a savings account. Is this really dumb? Essentially trading tax for the option of actually using my money.

Situation: I work at a small healthcare Staffing agency. One of our employees has been wearing the same clothes since the day she started for over a month now. She is well groomed and clean. I have been interviewing with a company for three weeks. One zoom call one week one zoom call the following and then finally an on-site meeting including the president and A tour of the facility. At the end of the interview the president said I would hear from them within 24 hours.
