I am currently interning at one of the Big 4's for the Summer. However, I received an email to go to EY's 2022 Futures Conference from July 26th to 29th. Would this be a good reason to call off work or would it look bad? Should I just decline the invitation so I don't have to call off work on those days?

Any data points of Big 4 Tax Manager Salary in Texas? Considering moving to the US, and Glass door shows about $100k which seems a bit low.

Big 4 Directors (or equivalent): what are typical hours you’re working these days? Currently at mid-tier and contemplating a switch, but generally working 45-55 a week, which isn’t too bad.

What's the typical raise % progression for senior managers in big 4? (preferably for tax but all services lines are welcome to chime in!).

for example:

Senior manager 1 > 2 = 9% ?
Senior manager 2 > 3 = 12% ?

Etc...

What has your experience been here?

As an M&A assoc at UK big 4 (qualified) what does the exit opp to PE/buy side look like? It surprised me that it seems quite a few make a move directly to LMM/MM PE or into larger IBs first.

I graduate this May with an BS in Industrial Engineering. Would it be super crazy to just take off 6 months and try to start working in January 2022? 3 semesters of back-to-back online college has completely drained me and I really just want to take some time off before I start working the rest of my life.
