I am a single mother so my budget is tight and now more difficult moving into the 3rd month. 1st round was normal discussion
2nd round was assessment which I submitted
3rd round was technical discussion

I reached out to HR and she told me that candidature is on hold.

It is usual process, anybody with similar experience?

I've completed HR round with Lnt infotech last Thursday, he said he has to get IBU approval for the offer, usually how many days they take to release offer after HR discussion.

I have submit my workday details , Laptop request etc in Kyndryl .

Current Kyndryl Offer 8 LPA (BANGLORE- )
TCS offer 10 LPA (HYDERABAD - HOMETOWN)

TCS IS giving offer in my preferred location,
Whereas Kyndrl manager asks to relocate to Banglore.

Can I backout from Kyndrl now. Please help

I have been selected for Consultant position for Mastercard. Its been 10 days since I have submitted my documents.
HR called once last week for salary negotiation but hasn’t called back since.

Should i be worried?

Any Deloitte parents willing to confirm this? I called the STD benefits line this morning to get info on what I need to do to prepare for maternity leave. The lady told me (1) I live in Texas so I can only get 1 week of PTO prior to due date and that’ll count as my waiting period for STD (2) STD is 6 weeks for vaginal and 8 weeks for C-section (3) DT paid leave is 16 weeks (4) I don’t have to do/fill anything before 30 days before my due date. How accurate is that? I’m surprised about 1 and 4.

Any tips on deciding between corporate or litigation for first year associates who have 6-12 months of rotating before choosing a group full time? Pros and cons of each? This is for people who genuinely have an interest in both and could see themselves doing either.

A friend of mine told me I should have Narcan on hand for my boyfriend who does coke sometimes. I'm firmly against it. Anywho, I was wondering why the interviewer came in with such a negative tone.. and it just hit me...AGEISM!! I'm not quite 40 but the more I think about it, that's definitely what it was. Interviewed for 2 jobs I am highly interested in. One offered the job already, but the other one hasn’t made a decision yet but should this week. I have until tomorrow to accept the offer but would like to work for the other company if the compensation package is better. Any advice? I don’t want to accept and then have to cancel, but there’s no guarantee the other job will hire me either. 😩

I was on PTO last week and had some follow up interviews for a role I was interested in.

The bad news is, I promptly forgot to send thank you notes! (Family PTO in Disney/Kennedy Space Center - so a bit crazed!). I am back in the office today and sent the notes... but, I am wondering how big an issue this could be.

Been since May 23rd that I’ve completed my background check. Called the 3rd party company and they said the background check has been sent to the hiring company for review as of last Friday. Should I wait another day before following up with my recruiter about the status of the background check? I don’t suspect there to be any crazy thing, but I’m just anxious. I’ve just never had a background check take at or over a week. Advice?

Been searching for a job since March. Have had plenty of interviews and offers. Nothing has been worth it. But I am really unhappy at my job. It’s a drag and I don’t enjoy a moment of it. It’s hurting my practice. I wish I could just quit and wait for the right job, but I can’t do that with a family to support. Anyone in the same situation? Advice?

I've applied and networked for my dream job and didn't get an interview this time. Also dissatisfied with compensation and some of the responsibilities at my current job but have a lot of opportunity to learn. So the question is do I stay where I'm not thrilled to be now because it's good experience to set me up for the dream job next time there's an opening, or do I leave now to an option that's better pay and more interesting but farther off the path towards my long term goal?
