I’ve got about 20 years cross channel experience in marketing, split between big brands and startups, and I’m considering pivoting into a data science/data analyst role. I know it will initially be a step back in comp but is it at all realistic for a person with certificate level experience in data analysis but a decent marketing management background to expect $150-200k comp or is that mostly for degreed candidates (or not realistic at all)? I got an offer from one of the Big4 company and they offered me almost 60% hike on current CTC. Joing date is on 3rd week of Jan.

In the current organization I will be promoting this december. In the 1st week of Nov, I will get the appraisel letter for promotion and new salary change is from December month.

Can I produce this appaisel letter and december month payslip to Big4 HR and request her to increase my offered salary?

I am thinking about getting Irish CPA membership under MRA with ICAI. But not sure about the job market in Ireland and the scope for Indian CAs. I currently work as a senior associate in transaction tax. Would be grateful for your guidance.
