I’ve been applying for jobs now for a few months, and haven’t had much luck so far… feels like even if I get (promising) calls back from HR/Recruiters the timeframe for the call back is so long that I have no idea anymore if I’m even being considered.

I’m a consultant in Technology transformation & I’ve lead several consulting & developer teams both as a consultant & a solutions architect. I feel though as I’m reaching a wall with my career progression and would like help with this.

Don’t want to defame a community but is it only who has had terrible experiences with HRs or it’s something that is followed everywhere? My classic experiences have been not getting responses even after qualifying interviews, ignoring my calls, delayed responses, no sort of communication to inform where is it stuck etc… I think such people should really need to change the attitude to let us know what’s going on rather than ignoring/being unresponsive.

Quick question on thank you notes, I just had an interview for a project manager role over teams and the team goes into the office just twice a week(hybrid). I was thinking of sending a physical thank you card to the office just to add a nice little touch but I feel like it may not get to them correctly in the office since it’s not a permanent desk situation. I of course will probably additionally send a follow up email anyways but I just think it would be nice to do a written note. Thoughts?

I’m interviewing at Amazon Eu for a L6 nontechnical role. Total ball park range they gave was $75k. Is this low for EU/Spain?

I have a phone screen interview for risk management roles with Citi and Charles Schwab for Senior Risk Manager roles. I have 7yoe in Risk and 7 yoe in PM. None in the financial sector. I interviewed with a big pharma company last week. They said 2 more rounds of interviews with offers in early to mid April so I assumed things were moving quick. Fixed is almost same however Accenture is giving more variable.

Profile - Tech Risk, GRC . YOE - 9.2.
