Hello all recently applied for a position at Boeing. Application states it’s under consideration. Is this a good thing? What’s the general turn around time for a decision. How hard is it to usually get on? Boeing

Being in your position over a year ago, and as a rehire, it depends upon the hiring manager, Global Talent representatives (HR). Global Talent representative will contact you, set up an interview with you and the hiring manager, and there may be 2 to 3 interviews.
So your question for how long “under consideration”? That could stay there until they contract you, or until they hire someone else. It just depends. With Boeing, sometimes there is no rhyme or reason.

I have a question for associates: how do you feel when your support staff leaves due to compensation even though the firm is bringing in millions? I.e partners won’t pay staff what they’re worth so they leave. Especially if you’ve worked with them for years and like them. I understand it’s “part of the job and field” but I feel like maybe associates have feelings about it that aren’t always voiced because they don’t want backlash?

Am i making a mistake to ask and confirm about NP even before my offer letter or its ok to just enquire what's the process and possibility to reduce NP as we have buyout option too.

I am a pre-law student (undergrad senior) who will apply to law school very soon. As someone who is interested in international corporate law, I am stuck between 2 educational paths:

1) Obtain my JD here in the US
or
2) Obtain law degree in the UK (LLB). Come back to the US for my LLM in international law. Then take the NY bar exam. This option is cheaper for me at the end of the day.

My concern is the job opportunities. I keep hearing that the LLM is not respected as much as the JD. 1/2
