Should I ask for a release from my current project and then search for new projects OR should I first search for a new project and then ask for a release?

Note: I am Switching Technologies. In current project I work on SAP HANA and BW. While, I wish to switch to a project which uses Data Science and Machine Learning.

I’m a brand new attorney and haven’t had a lot of courtroom experiences yet. I just got a divorce client this week and there’s a preliminary hearing set for this upcoming week. I’ve never done one before, what should I expect? How do I prepare?

Hi Everyone, I have joined IBM 2 weeks back and project is not assigned to me yet. Now the thing is IBM has my previous company as client, Now HR asking me to work over there for atleast 6months. But am not at all interested to go over there and work.

Can we reject this project and ask IBM HR to show me some other projects. TILL NOW NO OTHER PROJECT IS SHOWN TO ME

Even my people manager also wants to work me there but I told him not interested. Will it effect me in any way at IBM.

I left my 1st job out of college 2 years ago. I know people who went back. And lately I’ve been considering it a lot. It was a small federal contracting company. The client was amazing. I left because I wanted to explore what a bigger company had to offer. Would it be weird to reach out to see if there’s any possibility of coming back? I want to know if anyone else feels like I do: I’ve been on 3 projects (1.5 years) and don’t feel “liked” or valued. I try to authentically connect with others and do my best work on every project team, but nothing seems to work. Even more frustrating are consistently subpar performance reviews, which make me doubt myself and my intelligence/worth. I feel absolutely useless here and can’t operate from a deficit. When you request reference letter, do you ask the provider to tailor each letter to the specific school? Or do you ask them to write one and submit for all 4-5 schools you apply to?

Recently my company has added a new component in salary which has increased overall CTC of every employee.


We've not received any revised salary breakup only an official email stating everyone's CTC is increased. Started receiving salary based on the updated CTC.


When trying to make a switch, new firm is asking for revised salary breakup but I've shared the email screenshot along with my salary slips showing my increased salary. But HR said she needs updated salary breakup.

Kabi kabi dil dukhta hai yaha aake.. 4-5 yrs wale 20LPA + pe hai... Main 8yoe wala 11 pe.. Jindagi kaha le jaayegi.. Interview dia toh bhi 17 hi mil raha.. Something is better than nothing. Kaam chalana padega. Exposure plays an imp role. Baaki dedication toh him b dete hi hai.. #aaj #sad #hu
