I’m heading into a final interview next week. The role I’m applying to works directly with two executive team members and the CEO (the only hybrid employees). I currently work in a fully remote company and already have two trips planned for later this year where it’s too long to ask for PTO in its entirety because I was planning to work/PTO combo. I have a few questions for people in consulting roles (both external/internal).

My partner is in corporate banking, but he wants to switch to a consulting/strategy-based role. I noticed people with those jobs typically have an MBA, and also majority of the job ads in similar roles has MBA as either a requirement or preferred qualification. So:

1) does MBA actually improve someone's chance in getting those roles?
2) are there any good Canadian MBA programs you'd recommend?

Went through all Tiktok rounds (1 recruiter, 3 PM, and 1 HR). Wrapped up my final interview with HR 2 weeks ago and they said that they would have an update by the end of the week, but to reach out to the recruiter the following Monday if I didn’t get an update.
I followed up last Monday and the recruiter told me they’re still interested, but they’re awaiting further guidance from the hiring team. Didn’t hear from her again, so I followed up yesterday and no reply. Any feedback about this?
