I’m a recent transplant into the industry coming from Tech. Was hired for my software skills, but I am now doing market research and generating trade ideas as well. Expectation is I will be trading as soon as I get up to speed. My desk (global macro) manages ~$1B. 20 lakhs ctc is good compensation for 8 years experienced female candidate in tcs? Current ctc is 16.5 in cognizant. I am an individual contributor and deliver business solely without any skip level manager. I have communicated the same to my coach and he is promissing me a promotion next year. I do have an offer from EY as Asst Manager so should I wait for Deloitte to revise my pakage or should i put down my paper and then bargain.
