I find a company I could get behind working for… literally dive head first just to see if they really mean it… but of course they only exist on the *other* side of the globe. Does this resonate with literally anybody but me? https://www.quanticofinancial.com/blog/accountants-hate-their-jobs

Hi I currently working as an Underwriting Associate been in the this role for 6 months now. I am thinking ahead on my Career Path as an underwriter. When is the right time to pursue promotion. I love the team I’m on but it does not seem to any promotional opportunities anytime soon. I have goals to move up in the corporate ladder to a leadership position. Any advice such as any designation or if I should go into a Graduate program. I currently have a degree in Economics from Uconn. Aetna

Claims Director and a senior claims specialist are very different positions at my company. One is more of a claims rep and the other would be the level before AVP and generally has managers and senior managers reporting to them. Could you clarify if those are the two positions? Don’t want to give misleading info.
Thanks for responding. The director level I was thinking about are more senior level but with no direct reports. For your company, what about managers vs senior claim specialist? Is it usually worth the jump to have direct reports, when making that jump?
