Job base salary presented by HR during screening interview was $130-$145k. I have 3-5 years more experience and more education compared to the posting requirements (BA required, I have a MS). I love the position and what it entails, but was hoping to reach $150-$160 base salary. If offered the position, is this a reasonable ask? This is for big pharma, data analytics in New England.

Current role pros: a lot of responsibility, on investments team, like industry focus, good growth potential, CEO loves me, more “prestigious” for whatever that’s worth, learning more really smart people - new role pros: matched base and bonus, better WLB, carried interest - new role cons: switching out of investment to portfolio management, don’t like industry as much, less “prestige”, forgoing bonus I’ll get in March no sign on bonus

Hi All, I have cleared all rounds for GSK and am being offered grade 7, and HR Hasn’t released the offer yet and asking my expectations. He hasn’t given me the full range. I have 9 + years of exp, and CCTC is 20.7 fixed, last year I got 40% bonus on top of my CTC. What is the range which GSK can offer for grade 7? And will it offer 7a or 7b or anything else? I am increasingly hearing that BCG (and sometimes even McKinsey) is competing with Deloitte for some fed work, and not just high level strategy work, which is somewhat contrary to the conventional wisdom here.

Can anyone speak to the relative merits/strengths of each? What domains does BCG play in? Is BCG WLB much worse than D (I have seen reviews saying WLB is terrible at BCG while D GPS is pretty good, esp for A-Sc levels).
