I had a labral tear and FAI. My surgeon had me do 8 weeks of PT leading up to the surgery and then 9 months of PT after. Very long recovery. Make sure you have a really good PT. My PT would come to my follow up visits but this was also pre COVID. Not sure that happens anymore. My surgeon also had a CPM machine delivered to my apt along with an ice machine. Insurance covered both at that time.
Get things for the apt to make recovery easier. Raised toilet seat, shower chair, grabber/reacher thing, sturdy pillow for between your legs, crutch pads, crutch bags.

Offer 1: Non-profit financial advisor, awesome culture, design process & ethos align with mine, but still beholden to some outdated backend systems. Basically won't be able to innovate for a while

Offer 2: Consultancy focused on spinning up startups in large corp. Seems like cool work but I know very little about the culture/ process. Very sales-y HR but haven't talked to designers yet

Any good detox diets that good to try out and not horrroble for your body? I want to curb some sugar cravings and bad eating habits over the past year. Has anyone done one they liked? I was thinking of starting a 3 day detox then go into 7days of a white meat/fruit cleanse for a week. Then just stop eating like a complete child on holiday after those are done 😅 any advice on what helped you get past the cravings and level set would be helpful!
