Tbh sounds like there might be a red flag in your post. It’s not like you’re only looking for senior level exp. You’d think you’d get *some* action from juniors looking to leave. Have you reviewed your posting to see if maybe something is off, like, for example, below-market comp?
I would consider making your position remote-friendly and increasing your compensation.
Op, feel free to DM me a link to the post; I’m happy to take a look. I went in house as a 3rd year transactional associate and looked at a lot of postings. LinkedIn should garner you a few decent applications (among many irrelevant), but you can always tap outside counsel partners for their thoughts on potential prospects.
The issues is that you’re not going to get many applicants Q4 because they likely have to leave their current bonus on the table to make a switch. For on-site positions we get dozens of applicants (but none qualified / the joys of LinkedIn easy apply).
We have to resort to networking, referrals and actively reaching out to passive candidates just to land a few qualified applicants to send to our clients. Most of our in-house legal talent is seeking remote positions only at this time.
Happy to speak about specific resources or strategies with you if you want to DM me.
I'm in Atlanta and would be interested in seeing the post. Thanks!
OP can you please send the link? I’m interested. Thanks.
Please send me the link. I’m currently in house in ATL (2 years out), but I’m open to a change.
Please send a friend is interested!
I’m in Atlanta and would be interested in seeing the post also!
Please send the link to the post if it is still available, thank you.
A3, what was your salary when you started in house and we’re you coming from a cravath scale firm?
I have a bit more experience than that but am looking to move in house and my partner is moving to work for Well Star in Atlanta in January 2022. I'd love to take a look.
Posting and expecting to ge t quality candidates doesn’t work. You can definitely get lucky, but you need to network and actively recruit people. Especially in this market.
I’m just starting my 4th year. In my first position I did administrative work. For the last 2 years of handled a number of matters including litigation, real estate, asset sales, etc. I would be very interested in seeing the posting. Thanks
