Hello, can someone please let me know how long the old PD can be claimed while filing I140? I have a friend who’s PD(from old employer) is current and his new employer is just filing PWD. Is there any legal challenge if he gets his PERM approved after about 18 months from now. Can he apply for 485 if the dates move forward and not retrogressed? Thank you!!

Shouldn’t be an issue unless prior I-140 was revoked for fraud

Check with an attorney if 12 month rule is applicable here

I was rejected at Netflix right after passing the recruiter screening. The reason given is that they're looking for someone who has worked on longer-term projects. I worked on my last project for 2 years and have a 6 year project on my resume as well. I guess they don't like that I've been an independent consultant for the last four years and was on 4 projects during that time. Has anyone else encountered this kind of bias against independents working on shorter-term projects?

I’m thinking about buying a new office chair with the $600 from Trump. The Herman Miller Aeron seems to get brought up often here. What about the Steelcase Gesture? Wirecutter ranks the Gesture better than the Aeron. Also, do you buy without ever sitting on? I’ve always gone to Office Max and tried chairs out before buying. Thanks!

It looks good to me on the surface for ALL teachers and is time efficient! Any thoughts?
