Which role can give 6 figure salary in Marsh?
Hi fishes,
I'm part of the wave 13 bridge programmer batch.. I finished my big data PP training on Sep 12 and joined my new project on 27-Sep but Alcon mapping is from 1st Oct.
Can any of previous bridge wave people explain how long it will take for role change and also to get the SP in-hand salary?

Who would have thought
It sounds like you want to be either a creative or a strategist.
A creative(either a copywriter or art director) would design and plan an experiential activation. Creatives spend a lot of their time coming up with ideas for activations or brand campaigns.
A strategist would sort out the integrated marketing plan. They play a bigger role in the overall marketing strategy. They would handle the research and focus group stuff and then brief the creatives once they’ve figured out a direction for the campaign.
You’ll have a hard time pursuing art direction without a good design foundation. Most art directors have to handle their own design work nowadays so it’s advisable to know your way around the Adobe suite and to know the foundations of logo and branding design. Some places require you to know how to do basic motion design as well.
Copywriting doesn’t require any art knowledge but you need to know how to write snappy headlines, radio spots, and TV scripts. It’s good for people who enjoy creative writing.

Coming up with ideas would most likely would be a creative like a copywriter or Art Director. I if this is what you want to be, then I recommend going to portfolio school. Why? Learning this stuff on your own is difficult. Also it’s competitive. So, portfolio school is the fast track to getting that position. I would recommend copywriter since it’s requires less training than art direction.
