Hi fishes, my friend recently had a bitter experience with Dish Network. So her profile was shortlisted and they asked few questions over email. It did take good 2hrs to answer and she replied back. HM said we are good to go for interview and sent an invite. On the day of interview nobody turned up, neither they gave an update later. She did follow up for a couple of days but no response. Is there any reason why this happens ? Me being in HR field felt this to be a little unprofessional.

How much time generally it takes after HR round? After HR round i got mail for submitting documents(Academics and LTI specific Employment form etc) and interview process completion email. I have submitted everything. Please suggest

During the pandemic we started incorporating SparkHire for one way video interviews and now my hiring managers are super attached to it. It was intended to cut down on rounds of interviews - one SparkHire + 1 in person meeting. But now I'm seeing a lot of candidates drop off and not follow through on the spark hire. Hi , I recently went through all the loop , HR round and final HM catch up for a Senior level role at Meta only to be not offered a role (went to an internal candidate). Recruiter was very sympathetic and offered to introduce to any other open roles I am interested in. Should I take him up on it ? I see 2 open roles very similar to the ones I interviewed for.
