Completely agree! Majority of people on this platform are 90% out of touch of what’s ACTUALLY happening in our world. They want to continue living their privileged life where they didn’t need to step up and help.

Glad someone else has realized it. This platform is stifling speech on certain topics. Particularly around race issues.

Can you share the source of this image? I’d like to use it for a Culture and Inclusion meeting I’m preparing around the incidents of this past week.

It’s not surprising. Throughout my career the experience has been pretty consistent: make a white person aware of racism and/or their contribution to the status quo and they lash out. Every time. Being seen for who you are can be very inconvenient.

Well, after the insane ugliness of this week I learned that nothing - and I mean NOTHING- surprises me anymore. I miss the old, blissfully clueless me. ☹️ However, it’s also made me more determined. So, silver lining.

Masks make sense. Wearing masks, getting vaccinated, and social distancing can help end this pandemic. Reported by the NEA . Do you support wearing masks? Does your district enforce a mask mandate?

I have subjectively observed that those people who are more afraid of the coronavirus and more in favor of avoiding in person events for that reason also seem to have become less socially adept. In other words, some loss of social skills seems to correlate with 2022 pandemic precautions.
