Calling ads films is honestly one of my biggest pet peeves about this industry. Films are pieces of art. They don’t end with tag lines and logos.

SP1 - Films can be art but not all films are art.
You’ve reached out to a wrong crowd here. Droga 5 is like a church to these people. They can’t do no wrong. No one is going to give out any info and will take Droga 5’s side. Besides, you have no case anyway

You said you haven’t seen anything “in years” ECD. It’s ok to hate them, just don’t be a sourpuss.
Was she paid? Is that the issue?
She was not paid. The issue is that as well as being unpaid, she was mislead, if she knew it was an ad she wouldn’t have contributed.
Pro
Sounds like you should contact a lawyer, and let them deal with Droga.
When a brand makes a short film, it’s an ad.
In any case, best to have a lawyer check out the contract. Since this was a branded piece I’m sure they covered their bases in the contract language, but it’s worth a look.

And?
Yeah was she paid, if so it’s a little naive.
Pro
Jerry Springer, but it’s with advertising issues.
Get a lawyer to send a cease and desist or to ask for monetary compensation. But if you want to reach out directly just message the producer on the job or the ecd...or the cco
Was there an adweek write up? They list contributors
Chief
Of course there was an Adweek write up, if Droga sneezes Adweek covers it.
