My current package is 20 lpa with 17.5 fixed working as a project manager iwth 10.5 yrs of expeirence and i have offer from capgemini and a product based company of 32 lpa & 29 lpa as ctc respectively. I am not able to convince other companies despite having the offer in hand for them to give me 36 lpa which was my original expectation. I have done PMP and I have a good experience of handling a team of 64 at a time. Can someone please guide me here.?

Should you always negotiate salary? I told an employer what my salary range was and they offered the top range in the first round of negotiations? I just received a promo from jr to mid level strategist after 2 yrs, 3 months. Previous to that, I was in account for 2 years. When I made the jump to strategy, salary stayed the same. Now, with this promo, I'm making about the same as I did as a jr strategist with OT (now as mid lvl I wouldn't get OT). Internal moves are the worst here (they did the same thing to me when I went from AAE to AE). Anyone have advice besides leaving (I'm already looking)? Jr (60k + OT, mid 70k no OT)
