I would try and connect with Netflix recruiters on LinkedIn as well? I’ve had successes this way when trying to pivot in-house.

But first you have to say that Senna was the greatest of all time.

Scw1 exactly, is like saying you are boxing fan not knowing who Ali was. And I’m not bringing OP down, if you enjoy watching the races with your dad that’s awesome, but if you seriously wanna work with it you got know the history of the sport.

I didnt give a crap about F1 before Drive To Survive. I thought it was just Indy Racing for stuck up Europeans.
Now I’m a big fan. But as an American, it’s my duty to firmly refuse to learn any history, study the sport or respect its culture. I’m here for accidents and to watch Daniel Ricciardo repeatedly fail to live up to his cliche Aussie arrogance.
Also, I cant wait to see how Mazepin is portrayed in the new season.

Thank you for your thoughts and opinions. You may think and believe as you may. I appreciate your input. You also do not know me, or even why I love Formula 1 as a sport and it’s a lot more than just the history of of which obviously I agree is a big part. However, like I said it’s more to it.
What I love about F1 is the way it brings people together. It’s actually what I love about sports in general. That in that moment where you are from or what you look like doesn’t matter. It’s the intricacies of the contracts between drivers and teams with F1 as an organization. It’s how these races ignite cities every two weeks for their season. How Mercedes has managed to be a powerhouse for so long but really have to get it together with their engineers because this season showed kinks in their armor. You know Drive to Survive turned 100s of people onto a sport they didn’t even know existed. Yea maybe I don’t know all there is about the past but a damn sure plan to make it known now and in the future.
One productive comment on this post. This place has turned into every other social platform.
I don’t think Netflix is where you want to be for that. I work there and all we do is entertainment / brand marketing. We don’t have any influence on the creative output of the shows / films we work on.
DTS was produced by James Gay-Rees and Box to Box films, their LinkedIn profile is here:

Good luck.
THIS. Majority of Netflix shows are made by third party production companies and studios. Unless you want to work on the marketing of the show (usually done by Netflix and several ad agencies) you probably want to find out the studio that actually makes DTS
