Hello everyone! How difficult is it to start recruiting, and is it better to start at a staffing agency? I am trying to decide whether to continue as a staffing coordinator but at a new company with higher pay assisting recruiters on hires, or to move on into recruiting at a new company which I haven’t done before but have wanted to for the past 7 months being stuck at my current role…. HELP!!!!!

Anybody have any advice for someone with experience in Provider Relations who is looking to move into Network Contracting. I have plenty of experience working with provider networks but have been unsuccessful in landing a role after a few interviews.

I’m interviewing for an enterprise project manager for a county government entity. The interviewer OPENED the interview by stating the salary range, I’m guessing to weed out those who would not be interested in the stated range, which seemed very low, even for government. Does $65k seem low for this sort of role? I’ve interviewed mostly with tech companies, and nothing has started at less than $100k/annually. Benefits are pretty unremarkable.

How do you explain the difference between an account manager and a project manager to people who just don’t get it? Or better question, how do you explain the PM role at all to those same people?

I have cleared most rounds of interview for the role of SAP architect in Bangalore. I have recieved as mail from HR asking me about my expected salary. I am thinking of asking for a 40% hike. It's this too much or is it OK? Also, how is the SAP practise in EY GDS?

What do you say in an exit interview? How truthful and frank should you be? Especially if you are leaving bcoz of your manager and internal politics.

Struggling with something - have accepted a new position which required a backfill to current position. Was not part of the selection team nor was asked opinion of candidates. The individual chosen will be toxic to team - have already been told of several who now plan to leave. Starting to regret new position knowing that the team I built & was running so well is going to implode. Any thoughts??

Hey all, I am adjuster at Liberty Mutual and my bases salary is 47k and I am consistently working 50 hrs a week, I’m paid hourly so I do receive OT. But am seeking a higher based salary and a company that doesn’t have such a high turn over for reps due to claims volume. Does anyone have experience with other companies?

I’m a Talent Sourcer at my company and tend to take on lots of side projects. My boss recently ask me to make “reports and trends” a priority and asked for data to about what is driving the market and how we are comparing. She also wants me to make a proposal for this project but it’s such a large task I don’t know how to start. People pay a lot for software and data about this stuff I feel like I’m not gonna find everything we need with Google and spreadsheet. What would be your next step??

I have been working with a company for about 6 years as a Recruiter but I don’t feel I’m gaining the best recruiting experience due to so many limitations our company has. I’ve had to teach myself Boolean searching to be more active in recruiting. I have not had the luxury of someone to truly mentor me into a Recruiter so I’m trying to find any way I can learn and be more employable. Any advice? I just got a new remote position starting July 5. I just got an email stating that they are having a company sponsored meet on July 5 and if interested they would fly me out to meet everyone.
