A lot of my work in the current role is on spreadsheets. I am fairly good with EDA on R and Python

The only thing I lack is SQL experience. I have learnt it online, the basic queries, joins etc. This gap is hindering my chances to get an interview.

Is there a good way for me to tell my friends I don’t want them to bring their dog over when they come to visit? When they first got him they said they were nervous to leave him as a puppy, but he’s about 2 now and they won’t leave him home alone unless another family member can watch him (which is rare).
