So in the middle of a salary negotiation and the employer switches up. First the role was perm now all of a sudden it to changed to temp to hire after I didn't accept the offer and asked for a higher sign on and base. They are proposing 3 months temp and then they will consider perm. Before I respond, I wanted to your thoughts.

I have an extremely difficult colleague that I cannot work with. He answers my questions with completely tangential information and i have to repeat questions multiple times before he answers them, easily the poorest communicator I have ever worked with.

The week he took as PTO was the best week of my career at Amazon and I was far more productive.

How to say no to an employer after accepting the offer and after getting the immigration done (h1b transfer) ? I had a reason due to which I had to wait for so long, but at this point of time my main goal is to say "NO' to that employer without burning the bridge.

What’s everyone’s thoughts on applying to several different positions within the same company? I’m looking at about 4 each with different focuses but mainly revolving around data analytics or entry level project analyst/coordinator. A friend of mine said it’s not a good look as it shows the company that you’re desperate. I really disagree, I feel it’s in your best interest to apply as many as you feel qualified for. I recently graduated college last year and am trying to pursue certifications to help build up my resume. I currently hold an AWS SAA certification and Azure AZ -900. I am looking to try and obtain the CISSP next. Is there something else I should start with before diving into CISSP or should I direct my studying and focus in that direction?
