Just tell them that it's too early in the process and you would like to know more about the position before talking numbers. Then follow up with an insightful question.
Or you could just do your own market research an give them a range or number you are comfortable with
Under CO law, any full remote position posting technically needs to include the salary range. When they ask you your expected comp, turn it around and ask what their range is for the role.
This isn’t quite correct. if they’re a CO employer and the position is remote, they do.
Not true. CO DOL guidance is that any fully remote role must comply with its rules and employers cannot carve out remote roles from its requirements. In any event, non CO companies aren’t aware of this, but my point above still stands, OP should ask the company what the range is for the role.
How did the interview go?
Hello, I was wondering if this is for the new grad legal analyst position? If so what was the turn around time between the non-technical phone chat and the interview with the hiring manager?
Where is the job located? They may have to disclose the range to you affirmatively. If the job is in CO air remote, the range should be in the post itself too. Feel free to DM me
What does an analyst job entail? just curious how much legal work is involved.
