Anyone from Accenture HR here.. I have been stuck in weird situation and need help.. I have been referred for level 7 as per my current exp. and expertise. HR has told me in in their system it shows it as level 10 across hiring procedure. Now they are giving me offer for level 10 which is absolutely not suitable for me.. so I requested HR for re-leveling if possible and he agreed. Now dont have much updates. want to know is it happened ever? I m tired this is never ending..

Have you worked at an agency that felt like it had process nailed down? It’s my biggest pain at my gig now and I want to jump ship but not if it’s the same thing with a different name on the door.

Does anybody else have clients that want to be “innovative” and “disruptive” but the second you share a really cool, insightful, big idea with them that’s on strategy they proceed to fumble like fools and just want to focus on basic block-and-tackle tactics and never actually do anything that’s innovative?

I’ve been dealing with this for years and I never understand why some clients sell themselves as disruptive when they’re scared to do anything daring or spend any money.

My last paycheck ended up being super high due to an which caused payroll to enter a bunch of extra hours for the pay period. Notice Period question please. After being in the same company for 8yrs & experiencing burnout in the last 2 years, I’d like to make sure I take a month’s break before jumping into my next role. Esp as I havent taken more than 2 days off at a time this year (max. 3 times/Long weekends).

What’s the best way to go about it? Should I give my exact notice period & negotiate start date, or share my notice period with a “buffer”?

Had a phone interview scheduled this morning before work. Interviewer missed the call. Didn't hear anything until I sent an email almost an hour past the time it was scheduled. It was worded as though *I* missed our scheduled call. Do I attempt to reschedule or let it go?

Have an interview with a company I really want to work for tomorrow. My last job I was laid off b/c of an acquisition&recently accepted a job at a diff company b/c I couldnt afford not to. I got this invite shortly after. The place I’m interviewing at the job wouldn’t start til next year. I dont want to seem like a job hopper. Do i tell them I’m at a new role or just not bring it up? The acquisition was public so they can see Im no longer employed with the most recent work history on my resume

Hiii! Just had my final interview and only got to ask one question because it was times up. Was hoping to use that time to show my excitement for the role and company. We used up the time discussing my role and him connecting it to role im applying for. At the end I only got to ask about company culture and quick goodbye. Last words were "i'll reach out ,recruiters name, for next steps"

Does anyone else feel that we’re being told “everyone is hiring” but no one is ACTUALLY hiring? More so, putting people through the ringer then saying “we’re on a hiring freeze/position put on hold”. People are not just candidates you put in your back pocket for a rainy day as much as agency’s may think they’re doing a justice by adding you to the “pipeline”. Just a ton of corporate buzz words all leading to “this job is on hold for now”. Recruiting has become a joke of a position

I was on PTO last week and had some follow up interviews for a role I was interested in.

The bad news is, I promptly forgot to send thank you notes! (Family PTO in Disney/Kennedy Space Center - so a bit crazed!). I am back in the office today and sent the notes... but, I am wondering how big an issue this could be.

I applied for a job based on the job description and now have an interview with the Recruiter in the next couple of days. In preparation for the interview I did some research and have serious concerns about the company. E.g., most of the most recent Glassdoor reviews describe the company as a "sinking ship" with poor benefits and poor leadership.

How would you approach this situation? Would you mention the bad reviews to the recruiter? Cancel? Continue and see what happens?

I’m updating my resume to be targeted to admin assistant for another company. I have experience that is directly related to the job however, I have more experience that isn’t obviously related but has transferable skills (multitasking, organized, initiative, etc).
Is it worth keeping the experience that’s not immediately related in my resume? Do hiring managers look for transferable skills?
I also have a diploma in a completely unrelated topic, but again - has recognized transferable skills.
