Sooo my nanny fell asleep holding the baby. My husband and I work from home. So, he walked in, saw them and put the baby in the crib.
Ask: Any advice on how to address this with the nanny? Also, it it a fire able offense?

Context: Nanny started full time on 1/24; baby is not quite 5 months old; we are WFH and have cameras installed that are visible (she should know they exist); first time having a nanny

I have become so sad and lost nd depressed over the job search. I don't even have strength to shower, or take care of myself anymore. 30 yr disabled nurse non-one wants to hire anymore. I am a 10 yr lawyer. 7 yrs in my practice area. Little over a year at current firm. Still an associate. Im at large plaintiff firm w/ billable requirements. I do mass/class cases and hold a couple leadership positions (these were competitive to get). What should salary be and when should I make partner. I’ll add I work remote and pretty autonomously. Recently accepted a great offer from one of those startup-within-a-large-company outfits. The startup farms out the hiring stuff to the larger company. In the new hire paperwork, I noticed it said the comp was based on my being in a Tier 1 CoL city. Prior to accepting I'd mentioned to the startup I was looking to move, and they said it shouldn't be an issue. Will they adjust my comp down if I move to a Tier 2 city? Startup is fully distributed and remote.

Why do pharma companies rely so much on consultants like Axtria and ZS ? What I feel is Pharma companies mostly hire them for data cleaning. I am currently an intern at a top Pharma company and I see in meetings that my manager tells these consultants the idea and view he wants in deck and they(consultants) basically do data cleaning and come up with pretty slides. I don’t see any “consulting” part here. Why can’t these Pharma companies make their in house team for these things ?

Any Spec Ed teachers feel like every time you try to get your program running you can’t? I am not in a self-contained class but more of a student drop in resource room where I work in small groups with life skills students who come to me for instruction & then take independent tasks back to class to complete. I have a lot of room to add students to my schedule- but my boss seems to think I shouldn’t be taking on more students but it’s my job to help those struggling students. I’m at a loss.

I'm an intermediate resource teacher with several 6th graders who don't want to be pulled out of the gen ed class in fear of being stigmatized by their peers or because the activities that are provided to them in the form of choice boards and differientiated at their ability level, seem too babyish for them. How do I provide service minutes to students who prefer to stay in class? with their peers without special needs.

Question: If SPED students are receiving their Resource Minutes AFTER the regular school hours from their peers (8:30-10:30) is that Legal? They are not being pulled from the general Ed classes, but participating in an extended day. Should minutes be calculated based on a normal school day or the 2 hours they are in class?

A student I work with uses AAC but doesn’t have science terms in their device. The focus is on core vocabulary but I feel lost not teaching these terms. I wanna modify but feel lost. I could contact the speech teacher but need a short term solution

I am only a second year SPED teacher and my eyes are already wide open to the fact that admin and Gen Ed teachers so often fail to inform me about important things regarding the grade levels I teach and other school events. Then I’m left scrambling to inform my students and parents of essential information, and I’m embarrassed! My aides also look at me like why don’t you know this? Aggravating.

Hello, I was wondering if anyone knows of or has curriculum for students in a Study Skills class?

I have been given three sections of Study Skills with 15-20 students in each.
I have always taught SDC, but this year my district said that we can do that now. When I got my credential I was not allowed to teach Resource classes unless I took classes and received the Resource Certificate. Does anyone know if this is legal?

I received my credentials in 1996/1997 and the other in 1998
