Hello Everyone, I work as an Information System Security Officer. I've been in this position for a few years now. I've been wanting to do something more technical lately (cloud computing/ethical hacking), but I'm not sure how to make the leap. The ISSO function entails a lot of paperwork, security enforcement, auditing, and reporting. I recognize the significance of the position, but to be honest, I find it tedious. Any tips/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I have accepted a job offer and expect to start in two weeks. The new role is lateral in title. I requested multiple times for higher title as the job posting open to both AD and D level, but the company refused to offer at D level. I accepted the job anyway for expanding responsibilities. While I am waiting for my start day, another company reached out and offers me a D role for same responsibility. What should I do as I don't want to burn bridge, but I do want career progression. any advice?

Deciding between current firm and other offer—same salary, offer has slightly worse benefits. Current wlb can’t be beat (25-30hr work weeks) but bored and capped out career growth here. Have many of you made the switch from accounts to strategy. I just started out in account management as a intern but I think I want to work in a strategy role once my internship is over? Any tips?

I recently transitioned from a design role into art direction. However, 85% of what my agency does is TikTok work. So an enormous part of the role is working with influencers and reactive content based on what’s trending. Honestly, I’m miserable. The work is so cringe IMO and There is very little focus on creative storytelling through design. Also, this is the most money I’ve ever made. Should I suck it up and try to disassociate from the work, or make a move before I become the sour grapes.
