I have recently joined EY SaT group as senior consultant recently in Netherlands. I’m tripple masters in MS economics, MBA and MS business analytics. Have 4 YOE in different industries but no M&A experience specifically. Any ideas what company should be offering me? I’ll be working as expert on commercial due diligence, FDD and valuation teams and doing automation alongside. is it wise to demand higher salary or promotion soon after I have proven that I can work and do it better than most?EY

I've had the worst application experience with Indeed (ironic given it's a job site). had a general recruiter reach out, then had the role specific recruiter call and moved me to next round. Scheduled a time during that call, but they didn't send a cal invite or confirmation. predictably, did not receive a call from the Hiring manager at the scheduled time.
throughout this process, they have gathered avail thru email. it's 2022, use Calendly or a greenhouse type tool! awful experience.
Any advice to help prepare for data science analyst role at top consulting firms (McKinsey & Company EY Boston Consulting Group etc)? Any materials, open source platform recommended to take on freelance data science project? When should I start actively looking and applying? I am a new grad who is working in tech as a marketing analyst I’m looking to pivot to marketing& sales data science consulting next year. Would like someone with similar backgrounds offer some practical tips.

Your other option is to invest your own money and contract a developer to get this work done. (Look at UpWork) This course of action would require you to define every aspect (and with very granular detail) of how the app should work. Well thought out Requirements and Specifications are your friend
Everybody has an idea for an app. Nobody wants to code it
You become advanced by building stuff. Just start building it
Truly think about these questions you are asking me before you post. Obviously have come to the wrong place for any sort of advice or positive feedback.
You may not see it that way. But I'm trying to help you. I'm challenging you in the same ways the business world will challenge you. Asking the same questions potential partners will be asking. Best of luck
Depending on the idea you can use a no code app development platform. I work at Thunkable so shameless plug but there are a bunch out there that can get you over the finish line.
Yes, this! I think it's the best thing to happen to tech. Makes it so much more accessible.
Thanks for that! Greatly appreciate this feedback. I will look into that 👍🏼
