Hi, does anyone have any ideas regarding dietitan salary in Arizona (Phoenix area). I asked for several openings there, and found out several of those full time RD positions pay by salary, not hourly. Even happens in an acute care/hospital setting. I thought RD position is paid by hourly pay in a hospital, at lease from where I leave now. Is it some Arizona thing?

Is it a red flag if my company creates a new entry level role with no career path or trajectory? And when asked, “how can this role grow”? It’s “I don’t know”. Do many companies do this? It seems a bit fishy to have no structure for promotions.

I work with HR/Recruitment at an aquistion company. Most of our subsidiaries are small accounting firms, and we struggle with turnover/recruitment of certified public accountants. Mergers, tech and change affect the way we work and we’re overloaded with inexperienced graduates. As a result, the stereotypical accountant feels threatened, overworked and underpaid. Could really need some advice on how to deal with this issue.

I need to review all my Directors and it has never been done but the President wants to review them to determine merit pay this year. So I need a form that they can fill out themselves that encompasses all they do in their individual roles.

I’m in a rather peculiar situation. I have been in the HR field going on 4 years, I have over 11 years of management experience, I got my PHR last year and I recently graduated with my MBA with a concentration in HR this month. I am ready for a more challenging role. However, there doesn’t seem to be much available at my current company. However, I am going on 5 months pregnant with the expectation of being out in October. I feel like once I mentioned my pregnancy I was in a holding pattern.

Has anyone ever had enough of HR and just wanted to do something else? I got sick of the hypocrisy between what HQ publicly says and what they actually do. I switched to consulting, I really miss helping people find and grow in great jobs but I was done being the scapegoat for people not getting their promotions or increments or internal movements.

How do you guys, especially the senior ones, handle this?
