Hello Everyone,
I would like to create a schedule for all of my clients. Let’s say I have platinum, gold clients etc. What would be the best way for me to schedule a call for them based on their profile of gold or platinum? For example, I would start scheduling a call every month for my top clients, then a call every quarter for other categories… I need to track the data, and make sure employees are calling them… something that would alert my employees to call such clients. Thanks!

To be clear, Excel is not a CRM nor is it an interactive database. As a human, you can interact with Excel in a special way to get a similar outcome though.

I would use a CRM, but I’ve built models in place of software when previous employers didn’t want to pay out and didn’t mind paying me for a job done rather than time committed to the tasks.

I would set a page for customer view, with each row dedicated to a customer/prospect and each column dedicated to characteristics/attributes of each customer. Among those, membership.

Then I’d make a schedule sheet to set up recurring events (call reminders) based on criteria.

Then I’d make a records sheet to log calls, outcomes and next steps.

You can make it so the schedule sheet is looking for these events for each day, but the spreadsheet is going to get mega large if you do it this way. Same goes for the customer view showing last interactions, next steps, and which feature a dynamic status (knowing who’s a live lead, dead prospect or active customer).

Would probably want to make a template for each quarter or month depending on how much activity you plan on tracking.

A less intimidating approach if just logging your own activity, is to keep a customer view sheet, and always schedule a next-call when ending a call or updating notes in cells. Low complexity is best.

Thank you everyone! :-).

There are many free / low costs CRMs that you can choose from. I have used Insightly before and it worked well. I have heard good things about hubspot too.

Hey reservists and NG who may be struggling with PT due to demanding schedule.

If you are looking to make a change to increase your run score, especially if you are close to the limit, try the Nike Vapor Fly shoes.

Just tried them for the first time on a timed run and went from consistent 14:40s 1.5 miles (I’m old…sorry) and ran a 13:26 with fuel left in the tank.

Just wanted to send this out to anyone who may be on the fence with a time this PRT/ACFT season.

Hello All,
Excel help please. I’m trying to combine 3 tabs into 1. So on tabs a,b,c I have wire instructions that go to different places, but they all have the same field names/format. However the number of rows for each tab will vary from day to day. I need to make a fourth tab that shows all the rows from a,b,c consecutively. Because the number of rows change, I can’t find the best way to collate all the rows into one table. I can use a macro or lookups or a source formula. Please advise!

Noob question using Excel 2016 (new job not yet on 365). I just inherited a large workbook that has multiple data tables, or so it seems as I see that they are calculating. However I cannot find them using find and select, they're not in hidden tabs, there's no range with such name etc. They're all scenario analysis. So how / where do I find them? I'd like to understand and update the underlying calculations. See pic if that helps. Thanks a lot!

SUMIFS wildcard question: is there a way to pick up values based on the cell containing a wild card? (So not an in formula wildcard)
Example: I have scenario A1, A2, & B1
Some criteria apply to both A1 & A2, and I would like to not duplicate the criteria. So when the user selects scenario A1, I want to pick up criteria A* & A1, but not A2. For selecting scenario A2, I want to pick up criteria A* & A2, but not A1.

Hello hello.

I have a column of dates in the format of mm/dd/yyyy

How do I count how many dates occured after the 15th day of their respective months (e.g. Jan 16, 2022 is counted but Feb 2, 2022 is not)?

Note that I have to do this without adding a new column or using pivot tables.

Thank you so much!

I want to learn more about excel. Are there courses that you would recommend?

Please do excuse how dumbed down the example is, I’ve had to replicate the problem on a much smaller scale with all sensitive data removed.

“Location” refers to a location of stored data and “User group” refers to the user that has access to the location.

I am attempting automate the finding of all instances of where the “U1” user group occurs but exclude it if another user group also has access.

Excel: I have data showing the monthly actual for assets deployed after a certain date. I want to figure out how many months it took for the asset to ramp to $100M revenue for each of the individual assets (200+).

Currently I’ve done a count-if based on the revenue range (0-200) and then taken an average of the months it took. Is there an easier way to do this?

Google Sheets vs Excel - pros and cons? Asking seriously.

Alright. I am very much so not an Excel genius; I have the Excel skills of your 90 year old grandma who just owns a Jitterbug. Im semi-tech savvy (young millennial), but I’m new to corporate after transitioning into my role from the classroom. Among some skills I know I need, understanding basic Excel functionality is the most immediate. Does anyone have any recommendations for a very novice look into Excel? Thank you in advance!
