Hello everyone, I’m finding it very hard to seek an entry-level accounting and finance job, I’m a new grad on psychology with an accounting LCCI level 3 diploma. Still, everyone requires at least 1 year of experience or some qualification of AAT. I'm still studying auditing, tax computation and law independently, and people say there are a lot of job opportunities but with me I’ve been applying since November, and still nothing. What should I do?

I have a friend of mine looking to get into customer success or related role! Are there remote entry level positions (that don’t need a degree) that are available?

She has experience in the following roles:
- Logistics Account Executive
- Customer Service Representative
- Customer Service Sales Representative
- Concierge

She really smart and hardworking, I would love to help her find a career - not just a job - that she enjoys. Thanks I’m advance!

Hi, fishes.
A quick query here.

I'm going to move from non IT profile to IT profile. Basically I'll be applying as front end engineer in new company. Previously I was working in a BPO profile.
Just wanted to ask if I'll be provided training in my initial months as a front end engineer or am I expected to work from the very first day.
Your comments will be really helpful.

Thank you.

Hi everyone, I'm new to Canada and want to start my career here in the Financial and Banking industry. I have passed the CFA level 2 exam and was wondering if I have to complete the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) as most of the job postings here mention about it. I saw that if someone passes at least the CFA level 1 exam then the requirement of CSC is exempted. Can anyone enlighten me about this? As the CSC exam costs above 1000 CAD, I wanted to be sure if I need it before investing behind it.

13 yr outside Sales Experience in the B2B space, multiple roles/companies. Current quota is $15MCAD, I usually do not bad in quota but lately has shifted to rewarding medicorciy and "pooling" some numbers countrywide which i really dont like.
Current comp is $85k Base and $115 OTE with a ceiling of $150k CAD/$120k US. Feel it's too little for my experience and they are taking perks away by the day.
Thinking of moving to I tech sales? Anyone else do it? What's comp look like?

Those who have made the same switch - is the grass really greener? I have zero interest in Plaintiff's work and I've always avoided it but the money and the career advancement is being pushed on me
