Hello everyone. I’m new to the app. I’m a Realtor that is looking to break into the New Home Sales side of Real Estate. I’d love to connect with other New Home Sales Consultants/Associates to network and possibly be referred to RealEstate Construction Companies.

Some start with a new home sales staffing company like a J Williams in SoCal, you could try starting there to get introductions. There are other ones. Also send your résumé directly to builders

Thank you. I’ll start there.

Why rep estate construction companies? Do you mean developers?

So, a recruiter gave me feedback that my lack SPHR or SHRM-SCP is causing my resume to be knock out by AI and human recruiters despite my position and work history in Multinationals and being in Technology. They suggested that we put SPHR ( Lapsed). I let it lapse in 2017. What is your opinion? Plus if I were to take another certification - should I take SPHR or SHRM-SCP?

I was on contract with Amazon and in the process of converting to an FTE before it got halted due to them putting a pause in hiring/converting.

I have a lot of experience in coordinating in many aspects and internal/external customer service. I need another job but don’t want to stay in the RC space but don’t want to go into customer service either (it truly makes me miserable).

Does anyone have any job title suggestions I can look into for my job search so I can pivot out of being an RC?

Didn’t know which bowl to post this in, but opinions on how difficult the enrolled agent exam is? How much did you study? Any recommendations for study materials?

I’m not a CPA and hoping having EA expands exit ops. I’ve been doing personal and corporate tax for 5 years.

Recently graduated college and now work at a F500 company as an appsec analyst. I don’t have a strong background in tech so I’m really struggling and don’t love the job because of it. I have the opportunity to get into cyber consulting in Big4 and was wondering if that would be a smart move? I like the idea of being exposed to different areas of cyber and I would get a 15% increase in pay.

I'm currently working in real estate private equity as an acqusitions analyst in the multifamily sector. I'm on a path to become a Director of Acquisitions of a region (my firm is expanding quite bit). I wanted to know if anyone had insight on comp at this level? Is it more bonus heavy? Do Directors typically get carry? It varies so much in this market so any insight or personal examples would help a ton.

I’ve been working as a digital strat manager for the past 5 yrs. Every yr I have been recommended for a promotion and have gone above and beyond what my job description calls for but the promotion hasn’t happened. I have a great team and I’m generally pretty happy. Recently, my coworker who has been there for the same time as me got promoted to Senior Manager and I, who returned to work in February after having my second baby didn’t. I can’t help but think that is because I’m a mom. Thoughts?

Would love to know what other Plaintiffs attorney thoughts are regarding Mercury. I practice in CA, and it’s generally known that Mercury is terrible in terms of settling. Liability not at issue? Meds reasonable? Fanf**kingtastic, let’s not settle and spend money and time on mediation. Just wondering, do PI attorneys from other states have similar thoughts vis a vis Mercury? Or is Mercury just flipping the bird to all Californians to spite the 20+ million fine CA has imposed?

Obviously a rendering but I wish VW would make an Arteon coupe. They’ve already got the A5 to build off of, and honestly I think it’s a gap in their lineup. Could be a cool car to compete against the new Z/Supra etc.

ARVL looks very attractive. It’s just $1 a share and it still has its investments from big auto manufacturers. It is very focused on quality and has responded to market events with care. The company will begin its production of low cost EU certified electric buses in Q4. Electric is the future and now is the time to invest! While big auto manufacturers have quickly begun production, their cost has continued to increase, while ARVL offers a competitive product that will evolve in 5-6 yrs.

As realtors, our worst and best friend are the contractors, being friends with the contractor that remodelled a home you are going to sell is a plus because you can know for sure what kind of improvements were made to the house and why; and what kind of things are pending to be improved, that way you can provide real information to the client. You know what they say: a happy client always comes back to you.
