I had an interview with @cognizant all rounds done with HR AND Salary negotiation, after that I sent an email to them related to my offer status. However, they replied me as, we have kept you on hold etc.
And now @cognizant hr called me 3 times for job opening, and I have told them my offer is on hold. Now, they have scheduled interview. Is it for same or new. It's really confusing for me.

If they release old offer what we have discussed or they will interview me again?.

Will tcs revise the salary after released the offer letter ? If Current company giving hike on TCS Salary.

I have an offer from a good bank in Copenhagen,DK for a IT position for base salary 600,000 DKK ( 50k per month ) before taxes. Retirement, insurance will be added on top of this package further.

While in India I hold a fixed package of about 27LPA.

My YOE is 9.6.

I am a single person, no family obligations yet.
I am wondering if this will this be a good move for me , I hope I won't be hand to mouth since I read that Cph,DK is one of the most expensive places to live!?

I have total 13 years of experience and relevant is 12.I got offer from Capgemini today for grade C2.
In the discussions.. I was not aware about their band structure so I accepted it but I saw few ppl with 9 yrs exp also getting C2.
Shall I accept the offer or talk with HR for D1 band. Not sure If they ll change it. They gave 85% hike over my current CTC.

Doing a remote interview tomorrow for an in-house position that I really want. Invite says "[company] is a startup, so a full suit is not necessary! Business casual attire is recommended." Like I said, I really want this job, and the idea of not wearing a suit is just weird to me

In-house at a small/mid size company whose General Counsel very, very BigLaw firm for all needs. Basically, I decide what goes to BigLaw and they hold my hand when I need it.

The issue, is that we are not an important client (nor should we be, tbh) but I have been instructed that I am restricted to this firm for all needs because of a family tie. The problem is they SUCK for what we do and need and $$$$$$$....

Any suggestions? We've got to get away from this big law firm..

This is a kind of funky question but I need as many ears as I can get - are you still doing safeguard forms or symptom check forms in your offices? How is your RTO process evolving from a legal protections standpoint?

I think our HR team wants to get “back to normal” and get rid of most of our guardrails but I’m having trouble ascertaining the evolving risk.

Have you had to change your start date after accepting an offer and how did it go? I told them I need to give 30 day notice and so I set my start date (incorrectly) assuming the background check and drug screen would take a few days to clear. However, the drug screen is now taking over a week and a half (still not finished, maybe tomorrow). Apparently things are much slower due to staffing issues and labs are backed up. It’s cutting into my 30 day notice significantly. Thoughts?

My co-worker is so resentful and competitive because I was promoted over her last year which caused a demotion on her end. People in the company still go to her for things that should be for me but she rarely corrects them. Shes still involved in the company too in a way that allows her to know secrets that I should know about but never do. I technically am above her within the company but this is how things are. I just do my job and try to not let it bother me but it does. Any suggestions?

No poach agreements (i.e., we agree not to solicit each other’s employees) in customer contracts are a no-no for antitrust reasons, right? A customer is pretty adamant that they want it in but I feel like this is black and white. Would love to know if any of you are seeing them in your customer contracts and whether you’re including “unless prohibited by law” type of language to CYA.

I primarily use Littler because they have a broad reach and decent rates but I’m wondering whether Bird & Bird, Ogletree, or some other firm has similar pricing and as good or better quality work. In-house counsel - would you prefer working at a big company specializing in a field of law, eg, privacy, IP, employment, etc, or a small company being a general counsel? Assume the small company has a higher risk of going under compared to the big company, but higher reward (via stock), and the large company pays a healthier salary.

Which books would you recommend for in house counsel about strategy, management, and leadership?
