Hey everyone, I’m looking for some advice with regards to my next career step. Currently in audit and I have opportunities to go for a Valuations role or an FDD role (both big 4). What are the pros and cons of each? (hours and learning opps, not concerned about salary) Not looking to work long term in both and would likely want to transition into an FP&A role in the future. Hoping to jump directly but require modelling experience.

Looking to pivot from Controller (industry) position to FAAS or CFO Advisory. 7+ years of progressive experience through a Controller Development Program. Strong experience in acquisition integration, process improvement, finance transformation, etc.

Hey guyss ! So I’m a freight broker for a start-up company making 50k base with a $800 bonus every month. My numbers are great , and I always hit my quotas , but I can’t help but to feel like I’m being taken advantage of. Do you guys know of any other companies that are in the same or similar industry that pays more. The benefits are more than fine but I don’t make commission and it behooves me how I make the company an extra 10-20k a week but don’t see anything off it really.

I put my profile up on Hired on Tuesday with what I feel like is a high minimum base ( 200k ) and I’m getting 5 or more interview requests a day. Am I shooting too low? What's a good TC range for a new grad (1 YOE) for an Amazon L4 role? I have no competing offers.

I'm a solid software engineer; I get the job done, I'm reliable, I work hard, i can accomplish almost any technical task with enough time, I'm supposed to be smart; I went to MIT.

But I am in awe of those 10x programmer types, because -- as the name would imply-- they finish everything 10x faster than me. I don't understand how they do it, and I am super envious. I want to be like these guys. But how? Is it even learnable or is it all just God-given talent? How can I become like them?

Has anyone here been through the clearance process for TSC Full Scope Poly? I have had mine in process for quite some time now. The last status check I got was pending adjudication. Anyone have any insight on how long this part can take and what the next steps would be from here. Total process so far has been a little over two years.
