2.5 YOE, 6.2 LPA Mainframe, recently got an offer from TCS for Mainframe Developer position with 7.5Lpa. My project Director called me and willing to match the salary here in Cognizant. He said i will be eligible for yearly hike as well.
Please suggest if truly I will be eligible for yearly hike after being retained and is it good to stay overall.
P.S - TCS gave 7.5 on top of 5.1 LPA, 6.2 is what i got recently in April promotion for Associate.
What are the exit opportunities from financial advisory and transaction accounting consulting? Looking to make a transition into consulting but I'm not sure if I see myself in that LOB long term.
Doing a remote interview tomorrow for an in-house position that I really want. Invite says "[company] is a startup, so a full suit is not necessary! Business casual attire is recommended." Like I said, I really want this job, and the idea of not wearing a suit is just weird to me
Should I still wear the suit or would it be counter productive?

Foreign-trained CPA looking to eventually get a tax position in the midwest or south US (MO, AR, TX). I have acceptance letters to study for the online MTax at Denver and online MSL at Boston and NYU with the latter being most expensive.
This is all out of my own pocket. Does the NYU name on the resume justify the higher price tag of that degree? Anything else I should consider when deciding between these options? Thanks
Does anyone have any info on Moon Rabbit? Recruiter reached out to me about an opening and I’m curious what they’re about. Any info is appreciated!

I made it the final round "panel" interviews with Amazon for a hardware engineering role. Anyone got any tips or experiences with Amazon interviews for a HW-oriented role?
It's 5 hours total, first two rounds are with managers. What I've done in the past is give as many examples as I could for HW solutions that I worked on highlighting the tech skills. Wondering if I can do more?
What skills must one build upon to pivot from Investment team at a PortCo of a mega fund (>$300 Bn), to investment team at a PE?
Would genuinely appreciate some advise as I start this new role at the PortCo from next month. TIA 🙏
I am an HR “Manager” with 8+ years experience. Bachelors in HR and a SHRM-CP cert. Currently employed at a manufacturing facility w/ 80 employees in Metro Detroit, Michigan (Macomb Twp). I am a department of one with no direct reports under me. I feel as though my role is more of a “generalist” position as my duties are more aligned with that. I am currently at $75k and promised to be increased to $82k in the next month. Bonuses are discretionary and never the same amount. Fairly compensated?
Hope you're doing well!

Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated
How do you tow the fine line between sticking up for yourself and not talking back to a partner? For context, our firm has seemingly started making a paper trail for layoffs and I disagree with some of the emails that I have received. I want to respond in a way that covers my own ass. However, I don’t want to piss anyone off, especially if I have read the situation incorrectly.
Deloitte 🐠 How would you characterize your firm’s DEI? Do you think it’s supportive and provides ample opportunities for growth? URM and top performing but looking to move away from AFS.

Hi fishes🙂 👋🏻 I got an offer from Larsen & Toubro Infotech today for the position of 365 Functional Consultant.
But the designation offered is 'Senior Engineer - Cloud Services and Software' whereas in PwC my designation: 'Technology Consultant' & designation of offer in hand(IBM) :'Advisory Consultant'.
So will IBM consider my Larsen & Toubro Infotech offer as a counter offer?
My fear is whether they will say 'you r offered a different role hence we cant consider'.Will it matter that much?
I forget everything when I’m on the spot lol
Is it normal here for certain teams to literally have one or two person? Is Deloitte so seriously understaffed?! Does asking for teammates help?
AMZN, AAPL, MSFT, & GOOG are not going anywhere. Cloud computing and data are so big and I see no point in why people invest in other companies as a safety if these 4 giants run the world as we know it. How wrong am I?

I’m taking the SPHR in less than 2 months and haven’t started studying for it. How difficult is it? I’ve been in HR for 20 years and have experienced ALOT in that time, although there are always employee relations scenarios that surprise me! How much do I really need to study for this? I just can’t seem to motivate myself to do it, I’m so mentally burnt out at the end of the day from a high stress HR job, the last thing I feel like doing is studying HR!
If someone wants to become a principal data scientist in the future what are the technologies I should know and where are the areas should have in-depth knowledge on? Please someone clarify this .

Would love to hear some suggestions on customer success software. We have a small team, but we're willing to invest in whatever will make our lives easier. What do you all use?
What do you do when you are having a really off day and it's reflecting in your attitude with clients/customers?
Does anyone send out updates to specific customers in newsletter format?
One of my large strategic customers mentioned they would like some additional insight into what our teams are working on MoM (we're a managed service).
I thought it might be cool to test out some sort of newsletter-format, to send updates to our stakeholders there. The hope being that it would contain visuals and have a modern feel, and be a little lighter feeling than ANOTHER google sheet or dashboard.
Hi! I’m looking to pivot into a CSM/ Customer Experience role in SaaS. Anyone willing to refer me? I speak Portuguese and Spanish, have investment banking experience and I was the implementation manager for 10 platforms in my current role to help a non-profit org improve their people management, productivity and learning processes. Was also a beta tester for 2 platforms and ran quarterly meetings with Product Teams to identify limitations and suggest enhancements. Can’t DM yet, comment or email firstname.lastname@example.org
Anyone here have any experience with CSM in consulting? Just received an offer from Bain for a CSM role and deliberating pros/ cons. I’m currently an AM at an adtech company.

Hi everyone, so I’ve been struggle in this job hunt and I’m trying to stay motivated. Currently I work in a nonprofit and I’m in charge of 3 roles: Engagement, Social Media, and Communications. My love is in client/customer success based on what I got hired to do and previous roles. How do I get my foot in the door with theses companies? I’ve applied to hundreds of jobs and no luck. I’m located in North Carolina and looking for remote or hybrid opportunities.
Hello fellow CSMs!
This question is going to be annoying maybe. I am currently interviewing for CSM roles. I know I am good at what I do and my customer satisfaction and renewal rates definitely show that!
However, most of the interview processes so far have a presentation/QBR. The QBRs I do now are effective, but super informal (no slides).
Do most companies require this component now? If not, which companies don’t? Also, any tips for being successful at these with only casual experience?

For me, I’ve heard of Senior CSMs at my company who make 200k OTE (160k base, 40k bonus) and 160k in RSUs vested over 4 years (remote role, so salary is the same all over the US)
Hi all! I’ve been looking for a new role as a CSM for some time now, I have over 12 years of experience in customer success/operations. Anyone know of any companies currently hiring? Or any referrals? Thanks in advance.
What people/newsletters/companies etc do you all follow for CS advice and industry news?

How often do you change jobs? Curious if anyone here plays that game and am also curious to know how it turns out salary wise.
