I’m in the interview process with a company for a growth marketing manager. I really like the role, it’s definitely up my alley. However, I was told that the role will have me reporting directly to the CEO. In my current role, I’m reporting to my CEO and it’s a nightmare. Constant calls and check ins. He doesn’t listen to me and wants me to be a “yes” man. So I’m a bit sketched out taking on another role being a direct report to a CEO. Should I continue pursuing this new role?

Does the word “inclusion” do more harm than good? What if the panel we simply said “Diversity & Equity”? My thought here is that inclusion insinuates that anyone who isn’t in the “majority” needs to feel “included”, which could be somewhat off putting. Shouldn’t the goal be for everyone to feel equal instead of simply feeling included? I’d love to get some opinions on this!

One of my colleague on H1b joined Deloitte an year back. When he initiated his GC, there was law firm change happening in Deloitte and his request was placed on hold. After constantly following up, for 5-6 months new law firm informed that he only has an year left before max out and refused to file PERM. He reached out to Talent too but with no result.His visa is expiring in next 4 months and recently Talent informed that he cannot take transfer to India due to annual freeze. Any options?

Did home renovation in India and picked out bathroom fixtures we loved. I bought an extra faucet and shower head with me to the US to take to Home Depot or Lowes to find something similar here. Guys BIG ALERT!! DON'T JOIN MAVERIC SYSTEMS. They are taking exp employee and burn them crazy for 16hours day and both weekends (spl Think Next batch) . They do humiliate employee to insane level and each one are crying a** out. They insult in daily call and corner each one personally. Some employees are threatened to each ask for 1 day sick leave. Employee are forced to work all weekend without compoff. Please don't join guys, my friends are crying 😓

1)Wipro, which offers 20 LPA CTC and the client is Blackstone

2)Sony, which offers 17 LPA CTC and I will be part of Sony Pictures.

3)Accenture, which offers 13.24 and 21% as performance bonus also a skill bonus of 1.3 L where my annual compensation can vary from 15 LPA to 16 LPA and 2.6 L joining bonus.

Wipro and sony may give 1L of joining bonus.
