I’ve been with my organization a little over a year and we’ve had major transitions and turnover that took me from starting as a recruiter coordinator to a hr generalist, and now an interim hr manager. I have a masters degree in industrial organizational psychology and while I am new to HR have professional work experience in other fields-military, teacher, training specialist. I love what I do. Should I apply for the hr manager position with only a year of hr work history? Do I have a chance?

Hi, do you know of any opening as a production manager making at least 120K? So for those that lived in NY and moved to LA, what are your thoughts? What do you like, don't like, what do you miss? Are the people really that different?

I love how connected & convenient NY is. It always feels lively (bar covid) & it's easy to find something to do but I always wanted to give LA a shot, even if it's for a year. Nice weather year round, film industry, the beach, more space all seem like pros. Doesn't really feel like a city though. I imagine the lifestyle change is a big one.
