Does it look bad on my profile to leave my current job within the probation period, for a more lucrative offer abroad. How do I do the explaining to my new job and what reasons should i give to the current job to have quit so early.
I feel really bad that my current company hired me at a raise and are investing into my on-boarding etc.

I want to know if iam getting under paid. I work as technical project manager with total 12 exp for a team of size 7 people. Only 2 people reporting to me directly. I act as a scrum master and have experitse in SIP,VOIP ,c++ ,Msml and vxml,Webrtc. I am getting 35lpa= 30base + benefits and Variable pay.

I have my 3rd out of 4 interviews today for an internal transfer. This position wouldn’t be a promotion but rather a lateral move. 4 interviews? That’s more than an outside hire, the whole reason I’m being considered is my unique value I’ll be bringing to that department.

P.s my final interview is with my current manager who is NOT in charge of the new department… he also told me he didn’t think I was ready for the change when I initially told him I was making a move. Let’s see how it goes!

I’m a first year in a regulatory group. I don’t think I am incredibly interested in or passionate about learning the law. Work is torture when your heart isn’t in it. Should I look for an in house role or stick it out? Your advice would be very appreciated 😞

Decade+ in and realizing I would rather be either in pure play brand consulting (like an Interbrand) or in consumer/culture advisory (deeper thought leadership, trends, consulting, like a Gartner or a WGSN ish) than stay in ad agencies working on campaign development. Feel like agencies prepare you for anything and then you can relax later. Is going in-house for a tech company going to give me a less diverse portfolio, less experience, and hurt my future career?

I’m an industry senior, manager is retiring in 2 months & new tax director is joining this week. Have been at company for 15 months. I have a package of 35LPA, i get in hand around 1.7L per month. Now, I have been offered onsite in Sweden and they are offering 60000SEK. I am not sure, how much to ask. I feel that amount is less and end up less that what I save. My wife also works we both save 2L per month. If I go onsite I have to save more that 2.5L, only then it will be justified.
