Hi everyone. When I hear about people making salaries above 250k I always realize their talking about total comp. Are there any positions where the base pay itself if 250k+? Also include what level it takes to get there (typical YOE, etc.)

Those of you Director/ VP level HR folks, what exactly do you do in terms of “strategic” HR? I earned my Director wings 1 year ago. When I started in HR I always wondered about the meetings my Director or VP would be in. Like what were these big cool things they’d be working on. Now I’m a Director with only a generalist under me so I get bogged down with the tactical stuff but I’m wondering am I missing out on what a Director level person should be doing.

For those at MBB prior to COVID and were married with kids at the time, how did you juggle your family responsibilities with the demands of the job? Asking as I’ll want to have a realistic discussion with my spouse when travel picks back up again (perhaps 2022).

Anyone know what the Salary range for an Operational Risk Officer at Bank of America or Wells Fargo ? Also, do you know if they do sign on bonuses? 7YOE

How to negotiate salary offer at a startup given the following. Offer is -$5k my current salary, but I'm up for promotion in a few months which would bump me +~$10-15k, also have an offer from their direct competitor but it's -$10k my current salary since they are earlier stage. My last working day is October 10th in my current company. And i received offer from TCS on July for hyderabad location. While accepting the offer letter I gave my preferred date of joining as oct 17th. But i haven't got any confirmation on DOJ. HitR is not responding to my emais & not picking calls.
