I am yet to recieve offer letter for the post of Tax Senior. HR said variable is minimum 10% . Would like to know variable 10% is calculated on basic or on CTC. As over the call, HR tried to make me understand if 15 is CTC, your bonus will be around 1.5 lac. Is it the case??? Average salary for Tax Senior in Ey gds. ?

As in my earlier organisation, variable is just 10% of basic pay.
Also would like to know notice period in this role.

Thinking that in a few months, I’ll concretely work solely for my own practice full-time. How difficult is it to gain clients (mainly PI and civil lit)? My mentor also offered me to be an off counsel while I’m working at my current job so that I can refer cases for a cut, would there be an ethical issue?
