What’s the most important aspect of interviewing? I’ve been trying to prepare for some basic questions, like best achievement/struggle overcame, but I’m anxious about how they’re received.

Hi! So I recently switched companies after being with the same company for over 10 years. I’ve been with my new company 3 weeks, they are privately held were super dishonest about the state of the company’s financials, like they could close in 6 months.Back searching and have interviews coming up. Question is do I tell them about the 3 week in job or just say I’m still at my 10 year job? Want to be honest but don’t want to lose next role and not sure if they can find out on their own? Help!!

Hey all, ~7 years I've been working with fixed income analytics (duration, spread, etc) and perf attribution for institutional inv mgmt firm with close to $400B aum.

I'm being laid off in a couple months. Should I say I'm being laid off in interviews? Or is that a negative? I get severance if I stay the whole time so ideally I can time it. Have finance degree, CFA charter.

Most of work has been IG, but also some HY, EM and equity. Want to go into equity research/PM- worried I'm pigeonholed

Moving from Denver to LA. What are the cleanest parts of LA? My girlfriend lives in North Hollywood right now and it’s dirty IMO compared to where I lived in Denver (LoDo, LoHi area). Trying to find something comparable within $2500. I enjoy sports, the outdoors, anything active (hiking, walking, biking etc). I also have a large dog so I’d like a walkable area with a lot of green space, restaurants, etc.

For those who have obtained the CFF certification:
I was asked to put together a working plan to obtain my CFF credential. I’m aware of the 2 certificate program (Core and Specialized) through the AICPA that will lead to the CFF. Does anyone have experience in how long it would take to complete the certificates and if there are other necessary or helpful study materials that would be useful? For background, I’m 6 months into working at this firm and have touched a variety of cases.

In our 121 last we had a good discussion on creating a personal development plan, with the idea being I’d write down clear goals & action points to get from my current level to the next, and I’d provide weekly evidence of it. I prepped the doc accordingly, but instead of wanting to discuss it, he said I have 4 weeks to “turn things around” - without giving any new info on what I’ve done wrong - esp given I wrote my goals based on this same feedback from last week??

I got email from LTI "Thank you for applying to LTIMindtree and going through our complete selection process" on 27 Sept but after 1 week I follow up on offer letter she said my approval got rejected due high expectation (35% hike ). We re-negotiate at 6 Oct (30% hike). Now they will release offer letter or not ?

HR discussion was completed and got an confirmation email that I've cleared all rounds on Jan 10th. HR was mentioning that the hiring process is on hold. It's been a month already and HR is asking to wait for 1-2 weeks everytime. Will I get offer letter?

Can anyone please tell if rent agreement is required in LTIMindtree for hra tax exemption or not ? If yes then should it be notarized or should it be registered ( registered means stamp duty and all ).
