I am a 2.5 year data analyst. I have few offers as below:

1. CITI (Sr. Analyst) - 18lpa, shift timing as US, would be working for US team to analyse their branded cards

2. Goibibo-MakeMyTrip (Product Analyst) - 20lpa, would be working close to product managers to expand the business in Gulf.

I am seeking an honest advise. I am just 2.5 years in industry so want to focus on good learning.

Is there an appropriate amount of time in a role before negotiating a raise or bring a competing offer to the table in a role?

I recently accepted a position with a new org. One of the benefits I asked about with offer was the parental leave policy and was told (in writing by HR) 16 weeks paid after 1 year, which is as good as you can hope for in US. Now I’ve been sent the employee handbook to review/sign and it says only 12 weeks, which is less than the org I’m leaving. What might my recourses be to negotiate 16 weeks when the time comes? Also, should I be viewing this is a red flag?

I effectively received the agreed amount of money on my latest salary slip but I didn't sign any "new" contract. Is this normal? How does this work?
