Hello Fishes, I have been interviewed at factset for the position of software engineer, two rounds of technical and one HR round and the technical rounds went really well and after the conversation with Hr they mentioned that lam good at both technical and communication skills and lam looking for a development role and the position they are looking for is related to maintanence project and I am really depressed hearing that, as they didn't mention these details in the technical discussion.

How do you advocate for a "level" promotion in a company that has vague unofficial descriptions of levels? I'm doing L4-5 (on standard levels, or L3 within our system) work but can't get away from the unofficial "L2".

Notice period - 50 days from today

Could you please let me know what is the maximum ctc that I can expect for my YOE ?
