With the housing market increasing like crazy and inflation I am having anxiety that I won’t be able to afford a nice home. I am in my early 20s, making $90k TC. In a DINK with ~$150k TC. Investments are about $40k with ~$20-30k in cash. Is it even plausible or realistic for me to look for a home so young? Should I wait? My dream is to have a nice home so I’m just in a frenzy.

Corporate suggested me for a DON position in TX. I currently live in SD and work as ADON. Corporate said minimum salary would be 115k. Then flew me there for 2 weeks to see the building (nursing home). They all loved me, as does corporate. But my offer today was 90k. When I said I was told 115k they countered with 100k. The partners here say they trust me and tell me to send stuff out without their review (they’re also swamped). Is 25% hike on current is a good deal to switch to CTS from HCL. Offer I got is 21.8 fixed + 70000 variable total CTC 22.5 LPA e.o.f 9.5yrs.

I had my HR discussion with CTS on 23rd Nov, HR told that she will confirm by next day, but it's been more than 8 days and there is no update from them.
Can you please tell me how much time will it take for HR to update about the offer in CTS?
My last date in my current company is 28th dec, so i am waiting for their update.
