Anyone got a client that asks you to give them stuff, you spend hours doing it, send it to them, and then they tell you they don’t have what they need and refuse to look at what you’ve given them...

Advice for someone 3-5 yrs into consulting, who loves the client element and the type of work... but is starting to feel slowdown in growth and not interested in subject area? I feel like the firm doesn’t value me (rated above avg. but not too), not earning as much as classmates now in other firms that are doing ok, and my mentor leaders want to pull me deeper into the work they do... do I just go with it, do I switch firms, do I try something different?

How many of you faced an inappropriate client whose remarks you couldn't let it slide however, partners refused to take action coz they would lose a client?

I worked as a technical PM for a medium-sized adtech company in NYC in charge of 2 technical teams, and the business intelligence team.

On Thursday I was informed by the lead PO and HR that leadership had decided that the project management office was no longer necessary for the company and all three of us, the director and the two technical PMs, were being let go. None of us were given any notice.

They offered me 2 weeks of severance pay and I negotiated it to 3.

When you review outside counsel’s bills, what are you looking for? Do you like the chronological list of daily entries, or would you prefer task-based groupings? I’ve read that the chron format grew out of fee-shifting precedent. It doesn’t seem all that helpful for client purposes.

It has been more than 2 months since I resigned but the clearance portal still has IT approval pending. Sent multiple mails to clearance and exit help desk. They even asked for IT asset submission acknowledment last week which I gave.
How much more do I need to wait for FNF and relieving docs. Really worried with this delayed clearance.

Anyone faced the photo Id got rejected issue.
Reason : incorrect background.
Even after changing my photo background to dark grey they keep on rejecting it. Does it needs to be completely formal as in blazer tie and all. Is photo with light colorshirt not .
Ps: I have a passport size pic with white background used online background changer to change it to dark grey.
