I am having 2.5 years experience in the IT sector on vision plus as a software engineer (before joining the bank). I need to vent.

We've had a bunch of customer reports of some text having the same color as the background on some products when the user is configured in X mode. They were totally right. I created a task to change the background color to something more appropriate. I thought it would be trivial, so I assigned it to a junior.

It's taken them 2 weeks to complete. We're still getting customer complaints about it. No one can explain why it took 2 weeks to complete.
