For those that have moved to SF, have you found that exit opps post-move have been better than say a city like ATL, HTX, or CHI?

Interviewing for a big tech marketing position. Any recommendations on books to read/ resources to prepare?
I studied SCM in college but I’ve been working through tech implementations on the ptp side for about 4 years now - it’s been all indirect client work though and no supply chain. How tough is it to pivot to more process and supply chain based strategy projects - do I need to get my mba. At a smaller firm now and feel like I’d have to jump to an Accenture to actually have the ability to do that kind of work (logistics and trade optimization, planning, manufacturing)
Thoughts on a career in change management? Specifically next project would be workday. I could learn the technical side through the certification but I’m debating a full blown career as a change person, but want to know pros and cons and any thoughts!
Hi All, I recently created my AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification exam and working towards Professional certification. Do you think I need to take AWS Developer and DevOps certification before I go for Solutions Architect Professional? Any advise would be appreciated. Thank you.
Can anyone provide examples of technical interview questions that they have been asked when seeking tax manager role?
Sometimes I wish I never learned about this career path. Ever since I have it’s only caused me stress and anxiety. Anything I accomplish is never good enough since I always have to be working towards the next goal, whether that be another promotion, more impactful projects, an MBA.
I work at a boutique (currently ~14 bankers and 10 back office roles). Joined in august. Since august, 3 senior bankers (MD / VP) 1 HR director, and now 2 analysts have left for great opportunities. To be honest I’m happy and like my role, plus it’s too early to think about switching firms already. I am now the only analyst left, we have another one joining in January. Any advice on how I can leverage this for comp discussions at the end of the year?
I recently accepted a job and its WFH (work from home) then supposed to meet in-office when it’s safe enough, but I’m not quite sure how to be disciplined enough to WFH. After speaking to my manager my position has changed to fully WFH…I turned down a different job because it was fully remote and I knew I couldn’t do the whole WFH full-time option cause I lack discipline. Any advice since I will not be full-time at home?
Looking for a referral to Amazon for an privacy industry specialist role. I have over 3 YOE of experience at a Big 4 firm and industry. Will share resume if anyone can assist.

If [said company] asks to put you "on hold" for the month of December...but you found a better offer, do you: -have to follow through with said gig -communicate this with them if they haven't followed up yet (but added you to new slack channels) (asking because I no longer wish to work with them) Thanks for the advice.
Any fun moving to Deloitte from PwC advisory, same role, maybe 20% hike and better projects?

Seeing some people just roll out the bed and show up on zoom meetings. I think this will come in handy to remind them to shower and change, ‘hopefully’? 🤦🏻♀️😂
I don't think ppl would care as much about non vaxxed if they would just wear their damn masks and socially distance. One of my best friends is unvaxxed because of extreme fear of needles/medical stuff and i have no qualms w him bcos he masks, distances, is honest about his status if someone asks, and isn't trying to turn it into martyrdom
My school has seen combinations of f2f, hybrid, and remote teaching/learning throughout the first half of the school year. After the MLK holiday, our district is returning to traditional f2f teaching 100%. I have 4 band classes (1 beginning, 2 intermediate, & 1 advanced), and as far as content pacing is concerned, we’re 1 9-week grading period behind. Is it a far fetched goal to get my students where they need to be by the end of the school year? How would you handle a situation like this?
I have a 3rd round interview with a Director at KPMG coming up... what should I expect? Will this be the last round?

Got a zoom link for interview. Checked zoom link about 1 hour before interview time to ensure it works. Turns out it’s the link to the interviewer’s room where he’s holding an unrelated meeting with other people, there was no passcode, so I quickly exited. No webcam or audio on from my side. Cause for concern? I would think best practice is private zoom link with code to enter…
Get some Nasdaq stocks while they're cheap!
I wonder how this crisis will affect childhood development. Socialization over zoom is just not how humans are made
Know this will probably be a sensitive topic but what are classroom Thanksgiving celebrations typically looking like for toddlers this year? It’s my daughters 1st year in daycare and they’re coloring hats to represent the “first feast” between the Pilgrims and Native Americans and I absolutely hate this. Thinking of not having her participate but also wondering if there’s something else to offer up as a suggestion that the daycare can do instead that’s culturally more appropriate.
