Hello fishes, SOS!! My friend got terminated today from Atmecs Hyd on disciplinary issues which is not true! He is trying to dispute it. However he has offer from another company. However he will need to clear the BGV . What can be the best course of action? Does other companies hire terminated employees?

Hmm, I think his best bet is to try and dispute and be proactive about reaching out to the company to let them know this claim is ongoing


Let the other company know what’s going on and make sure that offer is still in tact and moving along. That’s more important than disputing the claim which I’m sure they can get figured out as well.


I would only cross that bridge when I got to it. They may not even say anything, so I'd wait.

Took a job with a signing bonus in early 2021 (1 Year clawback). Old manager whom I am good with is interviewing someone in my network. That someone is reaching out to me for help. I don’t particularly like this person as he was rather cold in my own job search so I kinda want to screw him over. Am I being petty? Should I just ignore him?


As I get into my 30s, I’ve noticed recruiters focusing more on maternity leave than anything else when I ask about benefits. I know that benefit is important to a lot of women, but as a child free person it kind of makes me uncomfortable that they are just almost assuming I want a baby because of my gender. Maybe just mention it instead of emphasizing it? It also makes me assume that companies might discriminate against me in the job process (which isn’t cool for anyone) over a man.
