Today I had HR discussion wherein my expected CTC was 12.5LPA but HR said they can only give 10LPA including variable..After long discussion I said I'm expecting 11.5LPA atlast then HR said she will get back to me at today EOD..but I didn't receive any updates yet.
Did I miss the offer or HR had to get approval?
Do I need to call and accept whatever they are offering?
But I feel I'm lowballed as I don't have any offer in hand and I'm desperate to get this job..

My current CTC is 21 LPA (fixed), with approx 6 years of experience. Recently I cleared all interview rounds at HCL & Hexaware. I asked for 28 LPA but both the HR is raising budget constraints for this role.
